Arsenal made the perfect start, taking the lead almost immediately through Riccardo Calafiori. Kai Havertz then doubled the advantage before half-time, and Martin Ødegaard added a third after the break to complete a convincing performance.
Manchester City were unable to find a response as Arsenal controlled the match and secured the first trophy of the 2026/27 season.
