First Half: Chelsea Dominate Early
From the outset, Chelsea asserted control, opening the scoring in the 12th minute as Tosin Adarabioyo headed in a well-placed Enzo Fernández corner. Just moments later, Noah’s Gonçalo Silva gifted the ball to Marc Guiu, who coolly slotted home Chelsea’s second goal. Axel Disasi then added a third with a powerful header from another Fernández corner, and Joao Félix joined the scoring with a fourth, capitalizing on yet another Silva error. Noah managed to hold Chelsea off briefly after halftime, but Christopher Nkunku eventually found the net after pouncing on his own rebound, scoring from a tight angle to make it 7-0. Referee Christian-Petru Ciochirca then awarded Chelsea a penalty following a controversial collision in the box, and Nkunku converted with ease, netting his second and Chelsea’s eighth of the night.
Despite Chelsea’s dominance, they ultimately fell just short of a record-breaking ninth goal, though their emphatic win solidified their reputation as heavy Conference League favorites.
