Lazio, buoyed by recent strong form, looked the sharper side early on. Taty Castellanos offered an initial glimpse of his threat by netting an angled strike, only for it to be ruled offside. Porto, meanwhile, struggled to create opportunities until Arsenal loanee Fábio Vieira nearly turned the tide with a stunning long-range strike that rattled the crossbar.
